Automatic Indexing of Video Documents
and Color Images

Automatic indexing of images and video documents is nowadays one of the main research domain in image and sequence processing. In this context, my work in collaboration with Serge Beucher at the Center of Mathematical Morphology has lead to:

	a PhD thesis entitled Segmentation and Structuring of a Video Document for the Characterization and the Indexing of its Semantic Content Application to TV Newscasts for which we propose an abstract here.
	several web pages illustrating our main results : first report of the CTI-CCETT second report of the CTI-CCETT Chapter 8 : Applications extracted from the above thesis (in french)
