I'm a PhD student in Mathematical Morphology in Paristech, and my area of interest is Electronic hardware for embedded image processing.
I was involved in the PICS Medea+ European project and I designed a complete embedded SoC for "out of position detection" inside cars. The Consortium wins the Jean-Pierre Noblanc Award for Excellence 2006.
I'm also developping a 2D image viewer with functionalities dedicated to people who use images analysis systems.
This software is under GPL and use TrollTech Qt 4 Open Source libraries
Many files are supported (PNG, JPG, BMP, TIF with TIffIO plugin, ...) and many operations are available :
My most important personal software is a library for signal and image processing named Fulguro. This library is built in C and many scripting language are available to easily construct applications. Fulguro is able to do many computation and when it is possible dispatch processing to optimized functions.
The website presents a documentation updated frequently and almost complete, benchmark and cost estimation.
