Information for Presenters

Papers slotted as an oral presentation

Each paper in an oral session has a 25 minute time slot. A presentation should therefore be no longer than 20 minutes, to leave time for questions and switching speakers. Session chairs will warn before the 20 minutes end, and make sure the next speaker can start in time. To make the transition between speakers easier, speakers are requested to copy their presentation files to the presentation computer before the start of the session (for this to go smoothly, make sure fonts are embedded in the files). To avoid format or OS incompatibilities, PDF files are encouraged.

Papers slotted as a poster presentation

Each paper in a poster session will be provided with a board that can hold a poster of up to A0 format -85 cm (width) by 120 cm (height)- in portrait format. Material for mounting the posters to the boards will be provided. There will be two poster sessions, one in the afternoon on Monday 15 May, and one in the afternoon on Tuesday 16 May. The posters should be put up in the morning on the day they will be presented, and be on display all day. A presenting author should be available in front of the poster for the entire duration of the poster session, from 15:40 to 17:00.
